Born from our obsession with quality, the Aussie Fire Glass brand was initially designed to import the very finest fire glass to Australia. We have been trading since 2017.
After 2 very successful years building a loyal following in the home fireplace and fire-pit space, we now also stock products to service new commercial clients as well as a loyal following of boutique art studios for larger projects.
Really though, we are just a couple of cheeky buggers who value a good laugh, a bit too much to drink and a good fire to mesmerise us on a Friday night. Our new and improved site moves our existing brand Aussie Fire Glass into a new era of refined sophistication. Or at least that’s what we tell ourselves! We hope you enjoy the fruits of our laborious upgrades.
Q: Does the fireplace glass product ever burn or fade?
A: The glass will never melt, burn or discolour in a fireplace or fire pit that utilises natural gas as its fuel source under normal use.
Q: Is there any cleanup or maintenance required?
A: Yes! Initially, please wash your glass. We suggest pegging a piece of cloth over a bucket, placing the glass in cloth and pouring running water over glass. This allows you to retain all glass pieces. We recommend cleaning the glass in sections of 1 kg. The glass does not create any soot, dirt or ashes ever, so even when you’re not using your fireplace the fire glass is still sparkling.
Q: Does fire pit glass actually produce heat?
A: Yes, our fire glass produces more heat than artificial log sets and lava rocks. The heat created is comparable to a real wood fire, without leaving the mess of burnt ash and soot behind to clean up. Our glass does not pollute the environment like a wood fire, which helps preserve our natural resources. Propane or natural glass must be used on an open flame.
